I was introduced to the legal process industry in November 1984. At that time there were only 5 or 6 process servers or process companies in the Dallas area. By July 1985; I took a huge step and went full time creating Stalcup & Associates Legal Process. In about 1989; I and several other process servers decided to contact the presiding Judge in Dallas County in hopes of creating; at that time called a “Standing Order. This Order was only good for that court in that County. After other counties throughout Texas heard about what Dallas County had done, then most other counties throughout Texas came on board and allowed Standing Orders within each District, County and Judicial courts within that county. This is when private process in the State of Texas took off. As more and more individuals in Texas heard about how you could become a private process server in Texas, we had thousands of individuals getting into the industry. At one time we had over eight thousand process servers in Texas.

In about 2005; our Texas Process Servers Association lobbied The Supreme Court of Texas to certify each process server in Texas. Once a process server passed an eight hour seminar class and paid his dues; he/she was certified through the Supreme Court of Texas. Once this happened; the process servers list in Texas dropped to less than four thousand process servers. There have been several changes over the years, and we are now licensed through the JBCC of Texas.

I met my wife, Rose in 1986 and we married in 1987. We are sole owners of CERTIFIED CORPORATE & PROCESS SERVICES, LLC.

I joined the Certified team back in early 2017. I started part time as a clerical staff member. Over the years learning and studying the industry, I have had the opportunity to move up within the company. In 2020 as I became more involved in learning the process industry; I was promoted to office manager. As office manager, I handle all correspondence with all the clients and contractors on a day-to-day basis. I’m responsible for all the office procedures as well as office administrations.
